How to Shop and Where to Find Us

As a longstanding tradition, the North Hills Plant Sale is a wonderful opportunity to shop hearty native plants and blooms cultivated in the historic North Hills neighborhood. As our largest fundraiser of the year, your support helps us continue to beautify neighborhood boulevards and Certified Arboretum.

Each year’s Plant Sale brings a fresh assortment of native plants and perennials ideal for East Tennessee weather.
Plants may include lenten roses, ostrich ferns, soloman’s seal, hostas, coneflowers, and more.

Our Plant Sale starts at 10 AM, and some of the most coveted plants are sold in the first few minutes.
So arrive on time for the best selection!
We love the enthusiasm, but early shopping is not permitted. All guests will receive access to the sale at 10 AM.
Our plants love a rainy day, so the event is rain or shine.
In the unlikely event of highly inclement weather — including high winds or thunderstorms — we may postpone start time. Any changes to the event time will be posted to our Facebook channel.
The Plant Sale takes place at North Hills Park — 2419 Kennington Road.
Please park along the street and follow the alleyway into North Hills Park.
There is no parking in North Hills Park. Guests should park along the street, taking care to avoid blocking driveways and other vehicles.
In addition to plants, you can shop neighborhood artisans and our Garden Shed — featuring gently used outdoor equipment, decor, and more.
The event is slated to conclude at 1 PM, however the event may wrap up a little earlier if plants sell out.
As a registered 501(c)4 organization, the Plant Sale is the largest yearly fundraiser for North Hills Garden Club.
Our Garden Club supports the beautification of the North Hills neighborhood, including our boulevards and arboretum.
Additionally, the Garden Club hosts events throughout the year to foster a vibrant community in and around North Hills, including picnics, movie nights, fun runs, and more.
